Joanna Botley

Joanna studied Law at the University of Reading and the College of Law before qualifying as a solicitor in 2007.

Prior to launching LEASE Law her career was exclusively in property law in London where she spent eleven years as a Partner of a larger property law practice. For the last ten years, her passion and focus has been advising in connection with lease extensions, leasehold enfranchisement matters, right to manage and related issues.

She enjoys the complexities of the legislation and using her technical knowledge to help her clients.

Joanna has extensive experience and has acted for tenants in the Upper Tribunal and Court of Appeal. She has a loyal client base built on personal recommendations from her high level of service, knowledge and her approachable manner and maintains good relationships with other solicitors, valuers and managing agents who often seek her guidance.

Joanna spends time in both our Kent and London office and is delighted to have launched LEASE Law with Jade to fulfil their ambitions to launch a firm for landlords, tenants, and other professionals to rely upon for specialist advice.

In her spare time, Joanna enjoys spending time with her family and is kept busy by her young daughters and all their activities.
